Nkul-Beti nb mission is clear: to be the shield that preserves our heritage and the foundation that elevates our people. We unite the Beti forces in New Brunswick to pass on ancestral wisdom, defend our identity, and build a future of dignity together!
Our mission is to unite individuals and families from the Nkul-Beti communities of Southeast and Central Cameroon who have made New Brunswick their new home. Through shared values and collective action, we are committed to the following three pillars:
Preservation and Transmission of Our Cultural Heritage
We are dedicated to safeguarding the rich cultural legacy of the Nkul-Beti people, including the Ewondo and Bulu languages, traditional practices, customs, and ancestral knowledge. By organizing cultural events, workshops, language classes, and intergenerational activities, we aim to ensure that our heritage is not only preserved but actively passed on to younger generations and shared with the wider public.
Support for the Integration of Newcomers
We recognize the challenges that come with settling in a new environment. Our community provides a welcoming and supportive network to help newcomers navigate life in New Brunswick. Through mentorship, guidance, mutual assistance, and social connections, we help our members find housing, employment, education, and a sense of belonging in their new surroundings.
Contribution to Inclusive Development and Intercultural Enrichment
We are committed to playing an active role in the social and economic development of our community while fostering dialogue and collaboration with other cultural groups in New Brunswick. Our goal is to promote inclusivity, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding, enriching the multicultural fabric of the province and strengthening the ties between the Nkul-Beti people and their new home.
