Learn MoreTo become the pillar of the Beti community in New Brunswick, preserving our cultural heritage while promoting the socio-economic development of our members in a welcoming Francophone province.
Joining the Nkul-Beti NB Association helped me reconnect with my roots while building a new life in Canada. The support and solidarity of this community are beyond words.
The Nkul-Beti New Brunswick Association is a community organization that unites people originally from the Beti region (Nkul-Beti, Southeast and Center Cameroon) who now reside in New Brunswick. We preserve our cultural heritage, support newcomers’ integration, and contribute to both local development in New Brunswick and solidarity projects back home in Nkul-Beti.
We welcome four membership categories: Ordinary Members: Individuals originally from the Beti region. Alliance Members: Spouses or partners of Beti natives; they enjoy full membership benefits but do not have voting rights. Honorable Members: Organizations, companies, or other associations that support our mission. Voluntary Members: Anyone offering their skills or services to further our objectives (for example, event volunteers or mentors).
Members can participate in cultural events, language-mentoring programs, and social gatherings. Ordinary and Alliance Members have full voting rights (except Alliance Members do not vote). Honorable Members gain visibility by sponsoring or collaborating on our initiatives. Voluntary Members receive training and networking opportunities, and can be matched with causes where their skills are needed.
To join, complete our online membership form or request a paper copy at any community event. Provide basic personal information, indicate your membership category, and pay the annual membership fee (waived for Voluntary Members). Once verified, you’ll receive a welcome package with details about upcoming programs, events, and mentor matches.
